I started doing taxes for friends, co-workers, and family in 1990. After taken a H&R Block course I got my Tax Preparer license thru the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). I was offered to work for H&R Block at a Sears store but I decided to work for myself part time. I have taken a tax courses at Griswold Adult Education center to keep up with changes. CTEC also requires yearly tax education and exams
